Q: How big is the pouch? Would it fit my iPhone 5?

The size of the pouch is 6.7 inches wide and 3.5 inches tall, so this would definitely fit your iPhone 5 as well as any other phone or gadget that is within these dimensions. Moreover, given the material of the belt (neoprene) it could even stretch out about an inch more to fit the thickness of your phone, if for example you have bulky cases for it like OtterBox.

Q: What's the smallest and biggest waist sizes that the hydration belt can adjust to?

The hydration belt is actually meant to be worn low on the hips and it can fit waist sizes from 29 to 40 inches.

Q: Is the hydration belt waterproof?

It is water, rain, and sweat-resistant, however; it is not exactly waterproof since submerging the belt in water (as an example) will definitely damage your belongings.

Q: What's the best way to clean the hydration belt and its bottles?

We highly recommend hand-washing when trying to clean them.

Q: How can I keep the belt and bottles away from my arm swings while running?

First, please kindly ensure that you have positioned the belt around your hips as it is not only designed this way to keep it from bouncing but to also keep it away from your arms' length. Lastly, try placing the bottles in their holders with the tips 'inwards' so that it will not get caught with your arm swings.

Q: Is it easy to take the bottle out of the holder? And what about putting them back in?

It is important to find the good balance for us between security and comfort; on one hand, the bottles have to be held in tightly to keep it from bouncing, but on the other hand, they have to be easy to take out to quickly access it while running or walking. Now, taking out the bottles is very easy, but, putting it back in might require some getting used to. However, here's a helpful tip to make the bottle slide in smoother and easier: when putting it back in, simply keep one finger between the bottle and the bottle holder. For sure, you will quickly develop a feel for it after a few tries!

Well balanced design - extremely lightweight

By Amazon Deity (Zulma) | TOP AMAZON REVIEWER | HALL OF FAME REVIEWER

The Adalid Hydration Belt is perfect for running, walking, hiking to even bike riding. Made of a super soft neoprene that is ultra lightweight and thin. It has two adjustable nylon straps that can fit waists from 27" to 40". The two 10-ounce bottles sit perfectly on your hips so not to interfere with your stride while running or walking. The belt has very little bounce and will not cause any chaffing or rubbing against your skin.

Comes with a zippered pocket which is perfect for cellphones, keys, credit cards, cash or even to store an energy or granola bar. The pocket has a safety reflector strip so you can be visible at night. Also has race number toggles on the front which are removable.

Neoprene is a water-resistant material but is not waterproof. The contents in the pocket will be safe from sweat or light rain, but probably not from a severe down pour. Do not submerge your belt in water. Comes with a no hassle one-year warranty.

A (relatively) non-geeky looking hydration pack; excellent build & quality

By Comdet | TOP 50 AMAZON REVIEWER

While hydration packs are very useful to have, they tend to look more like medical support equipment or, at best, just plain geeky. This one, however, dials the geek factor way down. Not completely, but it's well done.

The build quality is excellent. The belt itself is neoprene that is well-stitched and assembled. It feels very solid and able to withstand more than an ample amount of punishment. The waist straps are elastic which is far better than the usual web material since it stretches easily to maintain its position in use without rubbing your skin raw from bouncing around. The elastic is also covered with a sort of felt-type material. Both the straps and the belt itself are very comfortable to wear -- zero problems with movement.

The bottles fit into neoprene holsters that hold them firmly. I had zero issues with the bottles coming out when using this, but still had no problems taking the bottles out when I needed a drink. Getting them back into the holsters took a little more effort, but with some practice it became a one-handed operation. The bottles are square-ish in shape to keep them from sticking out too much when you're wearing the belt.

The front of the belt has a small pocket to stash a phone (or anything else). It has a zipper opening that operates easily and smoothly. I would have liked to see a somewhat larger zipper pull tab, but the current system works well.

The bottles are very soft - I'm going to guess they are made of HDPE since they are so easy to squeeze. They stand upright without any problem when taken out of the holster, and have a wide fill top for easy under-the-faucet filling. They have a pull-top for use that is a bit stiff to pull out, but it does seal well when closed. You do need to be careful about squeezing the bottle too much when taking a drink since the water comes out so quickly that you'll make a mess. But, that also adds to the cooling, and once you get the squeeze level down it's not an issue.

Overall, this is a very nicely made belt. It doesn't fully eliminate the geek factor of a hydration pack, but it does dial it down to an acceptable level, and has a lot of nice design touches to make it comfortable and easy to use. Highly recommend.

I'll now have liquids on my walks

By Thomas Duff | TOP AMAZON REVIEWER | HALL OF FAME REVIEWER | VINE VOICE

I must be semi-serious about my walking, as I actually look forward to trying out new exercise-related gear. I got the chance to try out the Adalid Gear Hydration Belt, and I really like it. This is a whole lot easier to use when it comes to having water available on longer walks. 90 degrees doesn't scare me as much now...

The belt is made from a stretchy neoprene with adjustable straps, so it's far better than a "one size fits all" approach (because there is no "one size"). It states that it fits waists between 27" and 40", and I can confirm that on the upper end of that range (and probably even a smidgen more). The two "holsters" on the side hold two 9 ounce bottles that are easy to use without breaking pace. The bottles fit very snugly, so there's no chance they're going to fall out. The pouch on the front is a good size, and will easily hold a cell phone, ID, and keys during your run/walk.

Oh, and there are also two strands on the front to hold race numbers, but I can tell you those won't get any wear and tear in my situation. :) However, it's a nice touch.

When I was out on a three mile walk (moving fairly fast for my short legs), the belt fit perfectly. It was snug, it didn't move around, and it wasn't in the way. I could also cover most of it with my t-shirt, so I didn't look like I was wearing a dreaded fanny pack. The water bottles were positioned perfectly to be easy to grab and use, yet they also didn't get in the way of a normal arm swing. I normally use a running vest (not the epitome of fashion, but it works for holding stuff), but the water pouch is on the back. Not convenient... as such, I normally go without liquids. Now with this hydration belt, I have plenty of fluids for the time and distance I normally go.

I would definitely recommend this if you're a walker/runner who wants/needs to have fluids available and in easy reach during your outing.
